My name is Ignacia Reyes and I would like to introduce myself as the Parent Coordinator of Marble Hill School. My journey at this school began in the early 2000s when my sons enrolled at Marble Hill as the school first opened its doors. Almost immediately, I became closely involved with the school Parent Association, developing a close relationship with our staff and taking part in core school events.
My passion for our school, and the goals and standards that we set for our students prompted my initial employment here as Teacher Assistant. I worked closely with individual students to help tailor their learning experiences to their individual needs. For the past five years at MHSIS, I've served as the school Parent Coordinator. Incorporating my experience as a parent of former students and Teacher Assistant, I have strived to become a liaison between parent, teacher, and students. As your parent coordinator, I wish to foster communication between you and our staff so that together we become an integral part of your child's education. I also want to encourage your active involvement - whether through the Parent Association, school events or parent teacher conferences - to better shelter a warm and supportive environment through your child's educational journey. I strongly believe that at the root of any child’s success is a foundation of supporting parents and inspiring teachers. I am here to guide you in creating that foundation.
I'm excited and look forward to working with you toward a successful school year. If you are in need of any information, or would like to meet with me at any time please call me at (718) 817-7434 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get back to you promptly. At any time, feel free to walk in also. My office is located in room 846-A.
