First Annual School Wide Service Day at Moshulu ParkFriday, September 17th, 2010, Organized by Mr. Pesola. Over 350 Marble Hill students and teachers painted, planted, and cleared pathways in the Moshulu Park on Friday 9/17/10. Each grade was asked to wear a certain color to show their class spirit, and the class with the best attendance and school spirit won a dress down day for the following week. Congratulations to the 10th graders who had both excellent attendance and school spirit on this first ever school-wide service day! Community Liaison George Diaz from Councilman Koppell's office, and Community Liaison Yokarina Duarte and Chief of Staff Angel Audiffred from Councilman Rodriguez's office also attended and congratulated the students on their service and commitment to helping beautify the Bronx. |
