Marble Hill is a small community that is supportive engaging and International we have students from over 30 countries our staff are incredibly committed and they are here because of the students most of us speak other languages have traveled lived over and have a passion too for learning about other cultures from other people and it is an environment where we not just support each other but also Challenge and push each other academically and personally okay thank you very much everybody sit down for an international school and we embrace all languages so we have students in Japanese we have students taking Mandarin we have students taking Italian taking Spanish and even this year within our electives we're offering French in our school where we bring together 25 to 30 different languages and cultures in 1 building we find that our students they're learning not just from the text or the lesson but from each other to take 1 minute to discuss that look at your voice everybody can look at those words too there's a lot of benefit effort to go teaching students not only get 1 point of view 1 teacher's point of view but actually when you go teach you plan together and you come up with different ideas and different ways of learning and you that strategically you're a manager to have another teacher's point of view allows me to just jump in to see what's missing 2 points whereas when I came into the school as a freshman I really didn't know who I was and throughout the years I went like I overcame a lot of challenges throughout the whole High School process and then I was able to like find myself in the school I was so happy that I went well for you I feel that Mentor program is 1 of the beautiful for and they would have been before cuz I didn't know how to apply for college I didn't I didn't know how to make a plan for all the things I want to do and she helped me to do all the stuff I'm just so proud of you I'm so happy for you too if you are a student who maybe is coming from another country you may feel worried that you don't understand the language or you don't know what the process of enrolling in school may be and they will guide you through it they will make sure that you are on pace and be there for you every step of the way I Mentor we also work with our parent coordinator and it's really a team Dynamic unlike 1 I've never seen before just working to increase Student Success but also to just Foster growth in general I really enjoyed teaching here um it feels like a comfort zone an extension of home and the fact that now my co-worker were my teachers or you know staff members it it just makes it feel like an extended family thank you yeah you may find students from all different cultures from Bangladesh to Pakistan to India to public to Vietnam to China to Russia West Africa and they all sit in the same classroom and this wonderful to see that all these different cultures kids from different backgrounds are getting along together working together for the same goal which is to be the best version of himself academically to pursue their goals and aspirations in life Marble Hill is a great space for a students that want to learn that want to engage with the world and want to get to know people from around the world and I would say that our students talk about coming to our school because they love the diversity and so do staff and they see the value daily through their lessons and their interactions with each other
