The following organizations, institutions, and educational initiatives are working as partners to our school, helping to provide us with extra resources and expertise that enrich the education of our students.
 
 
New Visions for Public Schools
 
The Marble Hill School is part of the New Century High Schools Initiative (NCHSI): a vital component of the New Visions organization, which is dedicated to improving the quality of education a child receives in the New York City Public School System.
iMentor
 
iMentor builds mentoring relationships that empower students from undeserved communities to graduate high school, succeed in college, and achieve their ambitions. Students work with their mentors one-on-one, in-person and online.
Friends of Van Courtlandt
 
The Friends of Van Cortlandt Park is a community based organization that promotes initiatives that "protect, preserve, and promote Van Cortlandt Park as a natural resource. Students from Marble Hill have fulfilled their community service requirements with this organization.
New York Cares
 
All New York Cares volunteer projects are team-based and flexibly scheduled. The organization embraces virtually every volunteer interest: homelessness, hunger, kids, education, seniors and the elderly, HIV/AIDS, the environment, urban renewal, and more.
 
 
Peace Corps Fellows
 
Since 1985, this program at Teachers College has worked closely with the New York City Board of Education to place qualified and committed Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) in New York City Public Schools. 
College Bound Initiative
 
CBI empowers young women and men to realize their higher education and life potential by placing full-time college guidance experts in high-need public schools. CBI counselors maximize students’ college awareness, access, and financial aid awards.
College Now
 
College Now is a collaborative program between the City University of New York (CUNY) and the New York City Department of Education (DOE). It is a FREE transition program for qualified NYC public high school students. Lehman College Now Program is partnered with numerous high schools in the Bronx.
DreamYard Project
 
DreamYard is an arts education organization committed to building stronger public school communities and neighborhoods. Since 1994, DreamYard has developed a program which provides an educational pathway for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, a pathway in which the arts are an integral aspect of how children learn.
Lincoln Center Theater
 
Open Stages offers and in-depth theater experience for both teachers and students. It brings thousands of public-school students from New York City's five boroughs to see the very best that live theater has to offer.
